The library was my main source of information about visual artists. By the time I was in high school I had checked out every book in the art section. I have devoted my most of my life toward teaching and creating art. Most of what we know comes to us through our eyes. Vision is a powerful shaper of our experience. Access to the library collection set the stage for life long learning experiences in the arts for me. When I was five I decided that I wanted to be an artist.
